He is working on his latest filme, The Darien Gap, with the team from Adventurous Souls. The Darien Gap plays host to the world’s largest migration route and is the scene of Guerrilla groups, masked robbers and rapists, exhaustion and snakebites, broken ankles, murder and hunger. And yet, still 1000 people set off every day, with their families, children and babies, in search of a better life the other side. Over 300,000 people per year attempt the journey - of this number about 60,000 of them are children. But not all of them make it out - many die along the way.
Rasmus Krath is an Adventurer and Cinematographer. He specializes in traveling and filming alone, meeting the characters of his films as a curious, socially intelligent and friendly individual, allowing him to get very close to the people he is following and interviewing. He gets people talking and crawls under their skin by being confidence-inspiring and both giving and receiving trust – often resulting in very deep, honest, and confident conversations.
